Salary: Up to £45,718 per annum + £1,000 welcome payment*
Location: Stevenage or Apsley (with travel across Hertfordshire)
Hours: 37 hours per week

5 additional days of annual leave.About the Role
As a Social Worker in the Looked After Children team, you will:
Care Planning & Reviews: Develop and review care plans, ensuring that the needs and wishes of the children in care are prioritised.
Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs, ensuring tailored support is provided.
Direct Work with Children: Build strong, trusting relationships with children in care, advocating for their well-being and supporting their emotional development.
Court Work: Prepare reports and attend court hearings as necessary, representing the best interests of the child.
Collaboration: Work closely with multi-agency teams to deliver holistic, child-focused support.
Complex Caseload Management: Manage a diverse caseload, offering professional expertise in Child Protection, Looked After Children, and Family Support.This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, forward-thinking environment that encourages professional growth and promotes the best outcomes for children.
About You
To join us, you'll need:
Social Work England registration and a recognised qualification in Social Work.
At least 1 year of post-ASYE experience.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance, and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems.
