The Planet Group have recently been engaged by a market leading Aerospace company who are seeking a Logistics Support / Administrator to join the team on an initial 12-month contract.
This role would suit an individual with prior experience in administration and logistics support. It would suit an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, who also has experience of selecting, and working with, external suppliers.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Managing all aspects of trade show and conference based exhibitions, including, but not limited to:
* Registering trade show / conference attendees
* Booking conference / trade show space – including liaising with marketing team to secure optimal location
* Interface between Marketing team and stand builder on exhibition booth design
* Coordinating and overseeing the management of trade show booth builders, furniture suppliers, and electrical service providers.
* Organising and managing all domestic and international shipping and logistics for trade show / conference
* Keeping accurate records and inventory of all promotional merchandise, coordinating resupply as necessary
* Coordinating trade show / conference travel (Hotel/flights/road/rail) and liaising with sales and marketing team for travel requirements
* Raising purchase requisitions as required in support of above
* Keeping accurate records on all expenditure, planned and confirmed in relation to above activities
