Your Role
As a Senior Project Engineer, you’ll manage engineering documentation, contractor selection, feasibility studies, and compliance. You’ll work on a variety of technical and construction projects at Heysham 2, a power station that has generated enough zero-carbon electricity to power Lancashire for 144 years!
Key Responsibilities:
Producing and maintaining engineering documentation, quality plans, and technical specifications
Managing technical queries and ensuring compliance with safety & regulatory standards
Supporting contractor selection and contract placement
Conducting technical appraisals, feasibility studies, and site surveys
Leading technical reviews of contractor documents and drawings
Preparing engineering changes and commissioning documents
What We’re Looking For:
Chartered Engineer or HND qualification
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
Experience managing construction projects under CDM
Strong technical, organisational, and communication skills
Power station/nuclear industry experience (preferred but not essential)
