Your Purpose
As a category manager, you are looking to turn the purchase intent of MCBC Brands that has been built by the brands teams into actual purchase at the right value, by developing a detailed understanding of Customers, the role of the category to customer and developing the optional range & space recommendations to maximise category value & MCBC brand presence. Leading the thinking out to the customer. Category management support balance - 80% external.
Key Responsibilities
1. Produce channel reporting to ensure MFST are informed on category dynamics.
2. Drive customer engagement for category built through strong customer networking and clear action plans.
3. Identify customer specific category opportunities and vulnerabilities based on data and insight.
4. Deliver category based selling tools to support the sales team.
5. Use category insights to support marketing teams and the commercial planning process.
6. Deliver key category projects in customer aligned to MCBC strategic intent.
About You
1. Experience in customer facing roles.
2. Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.
3. Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
4. Able to identify key insights from big data sets.
5. Able to advance category arguments.
