Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Develop a curriculum that caters to a range of abilities, encouraging active participation and a love for physical activity.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive.
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that are innovative, challenging, and accessible for all learners.
Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential.
Promote the importance of physical fitness, health, and well-being in line with the school's ethos.
Head of PSHE (For the Right Candidate):
There is an exciting opportunity for a Head of PSHE role for the right candidate. This would involve overseeing the planning, delivery, and assessment of the Personal, Social, Health, and Economic Education curriculum across all year groups.
Lead and support PSHE teachers in delivering a cohesive and impactful program that promotes the personal growth and well-being of students.
Develop and implement strategies for student engagement and safeguarding in the PSHE curriculum.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Must be a qualified teacher.
A strong understanding of the national curriculum for PE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Significant experience teaching PE to secondary school level.
