Troubleshooting technical issues across various software and hardware platforms. Assisting with system maintenance, updates, and installations. Learning about networking, cybersecurity, and cloud-based services. Working as part of a dedicated IT support team to ensure smooth daily operations. Engaging with customers to provide high-quality technical support. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships. Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge: A passion for IT and technology, with a willingness to learn. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required. Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Good customer service skills and a proactive attitude. Some prior experience with IT support, either through education, work experience, or personal projects. Knowledge of basic networking concepts (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, etc.). Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals. A Grade 5/C in GCSE English and a Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths is required for this role. Salary, Hours & Benefits: £15,000 to £17,000 per annum. Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. Annual salary review. Annual bonus based on company performance. Flexible working hours.
