Position Summary Assistant Manager – Digital Workplace Solutions - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited Work you’ll do You will be a member of the ITS – T&I DWS AV Engineering team working with various stake holders to support the learning and development needs of the various businesses in Hyderabad. Responsibilities Audio-visual production specialists perform a variety of tasks and work with audio, video and lighting equipment, with the ultimate goal of producing professional video presentations. These tasks include the arranging, connecting, tuning and operation of video and lighting equipment. The function of these components and their interconnectivity to computers is important to correctly running wires cables and creating a harmoniously functioning audio-visual program Preparing teleprompters with scripts, monitoring live feeds to ensure quality, diagnosing and resolving problems, and digitizing the data An audio-visual production specialist will also store and maintain the equipment and the facilities in which the equipment is housed Audio-visual production specialists find employment at businesses with in-house audio-video production facilities and equipment. Generally, the work is indoors, but can include positions outside a studio environment in sporting events concerts and broadcasts Technician work with projectors, sound systems, microphones, Audio/video/light mixing equipment, overhead projectors, video cameras, recording equipment, adjust amplifiers, video screens, speakers, and lighting Implement all AV equipment such as Microphones, Sound speakers, Video Screens, Projectors, Video Monitors, Recording Equipment, connecting AV Cables, Sound and Mixing Boards for events and Functions such as Live Concerts, Conventions, Presentations, Town Hall, All Hands Meet (AHM) and news Conferences Should have knowledge on Digital Signages. Implementation, support and operation Ensure equipment is installed according to designated layout Technicians work with various stake holders, keep track of equipment inventory and fix equipment issues Manage AV mailboxes which includes: Raising of service now ticket or VoIP assistance for AV issues Respond to AV mailbox Other duties as assigned Manage the daily activities for the Audio and Video facilities. This includes training rooms, conf rooms, pre-meeting testing, live events, and post-mortems Manage professionals to include coaching, mentoring, and providing quarterly/year-end performance reviews. This includes actively managing both career development discussions and performance issues Responsible for recognizing and rewarding high performers and managing poor performers Responsible for defining measures of success or key performance indicators (KPIs) for products, services, and professionals. This includes the creation of executive level analytic dashboards and weekly metrics Responsible for leading special or large-scale projects by coordinating, overseeing, organizing efforts, and collaborating with various teams. This includes determining the appropriate methodologies for projects and deliverables and maintaining project management standards. Failure to achieve results may add to costs and may impact short term goals Has ownership on all support related activities managed by Global Support Responsible to notify stakeholders and clients on operational requirements and changes Provides periodic executive summaries and reports to illustrate service levels & service improvements Manages efforts for evaluating new products and maintains standards for visual technology and collaborative solutions. Process owner for fire, natural disaster, and network-down events to ensure continuous operations of visual collaboration services. This includes overseeing the accurate documentation of proper procedures. Strategic role with respect to decision-making. Ensure compliance with all defined operational processes and procedures. Interact with top management to ensure maximum efficiency with respect to IT intrastate and understand the needs of the business. Responsible for resource planning and management of infrastructure support team as well as budgetary controls and forecasts for the AV team KPI Demonstrates knowledge of professional learning process within the organization Consistently delivers high quality of work and meets the expectations of clients Demonstrates ability to make decisions. Demonstrates a strong orientation towards achievement Demonstrates an understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity showing a genuine concern for others and their needs Required Skills: 6 to 9 years of previous relevant experience Fluent in written and spoken English Hands on experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, CAD Proven project management skills Document AV COP Process control design & technical details to help with troubleshooting Provide training on AV Process control processes in existing & new installations Actively participate in continuous improvement by contributing suggested practices, lessons learned, etc. Provide expertise when consulted as a subject matter expert Ability to build rapport with key stakeholders Exceptional reporting and analysis skills Demonstrate initiative, follow-through, and problem-solving ability Quality and deadline-driven Team player with energy and enthusiasm Expert in Microsoft Office (with a focus on Excel databases and pivot tables preferable) Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments while working with minimal supervision in a virtual environment Proficient verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment Demonstrated ability to self-direct their work and prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency Exceptional organization and relationship building skills Strong attention to detail – can manage the little things while understanding the impact on the big picture Experienced working with professionals of all levels Additional Details The work varies from steady 40-hour work weeks to having to work overtime, evening, weekend and holiday shifts, depending on the position and any contractual deadlines Person in this role must have being on time, work ethic, effort, body language, energy, attitude, passion, being coachable, doing extra, being prepared Education: Education (degree): B.
