Our patients rate us highly on quality of care and having friendly, approachable staff and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join us on this journey.
It is an exciting time to join our service with the Trust committed to becoming a designated Major Trauma Centre over the next 5 years and with the opening of a new Norfolk and Norwich Orthopaedic Centre in July 2024, transforming our elective care provision.
As a result our team is growing and we are seeking a Senior Therapy Assistant / Assistant Practitioner with experience of musculoskeletal conditions and managing patients after orthopaedic surgery, to join our acute inpatient Trauma and Orthopaedic team. We are willing to consider supporting fixed term or secondment options if substantive posts are not filled.

This may include working with another clinician during an assessment or treatment, supporting a patient to complete a prescribed exercise, functional task or mobility plan, undertaking administrative and reporting tasks, and maintaining equipment and stock levels.
You will receive training to undertake this role working with and learning from staff who are experts in their field along with junior staff, other support workers and students. You will receive supervision and annual appraisal and take an active role within your own personal development using our competency framework.
