My client a multi - national prestigious manufacturing business requires an experienced Maintenance Manager to head up their Maintenance Engineering department.Ideally you will have most of the following experience:Apprentice TrainedMulti - Skilled, Mechanical and ElectricalExperience of Maintenance Software e.g. PiranaSupervisory experience of a maintenance teamExperience of managing a budgetMust be determined, able to challenge the status quo and able to adopt a flexible approach in a dynamic, fast - moving environment.Must be a self - starter who can identify the requirements of the business and work closely with the operations management team to drive the achievement of specific targets.Main Activities:To manage the maintenance and tool room teams on a day to day basis ensuring their welfare and HS are maintained effectively, providing an environment where morale and motivation are high.Plan and adhere to PPM scheduleTo manage and develop the service schedule to minimise breakdowns and improve machine capabilityTo manage and develop the system for spares, breakdowns, tasks and refurbishment to minimise breakdowns and improve machine capabilityTo ensure servicing is carried out in accordance with the scheduleTo manage and arrange machine movesTo manage and develop the tool room capability to deliver repairs and modifications to existing toolingTo manage and develop the tool room capability to manufacture tooling in - houseMust be an organised person who employs a structured approachTo manage the building, fixtures and fittingsThe Maintenance Manager position attracts a salary of circa £40,000 per annum plus benefits.
