If you love working in a small, collaborative team and thrive on solving technical challenges, this is the perfect opportunity for you Your Role Will Cover: Design (10%) Use CAD software (Autodesk Fusion 360) to design components and equipment. Liaise with customers to understand project requirements and create detailed manufacturing drawings.Build/Assembly/Fabrication (30%) Bring your designs to life by assembling components and performing light fabrication tasks, such as cutting, drilling, and bending materials. Create and build bespoke tools, packing jigs, and test rigs for internal workshop use.Maintenance (60%) Perform planned maintenance on key equipment, including valves, regulators, and gas boosters. Conduct reactive maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve faults, minimising downtime. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes across departments.What You’ll Do Day-to-Day: Provide technical assistance to MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) teams. Support all group companies with technical and engineering expertise. Fault-find on pneumatic and hydraulic test rigs. Deliver training on new systems and equipment to technicians. Identify and implement cost-effective solutions to technical challenges. Ensure safety and integrity by questioning processes and suggesting improvements.What You’ll Bring: Essential: A qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent experience). 1-2 years of experience in a technical or engineering role. A strong understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Experience working in a workshop environment. Knowledge of engineering processes and principles. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work autonomously or in a team.Desirable: Experience using CAD software.
