To assist with leading the Café Team to ensure that a positive Member Experience is delivered by providing exceptional 5-star quality service. You will be someone passionate about service, food, and the health + fitness industry.
You will be confident in inspiring a team and thrive in busy environments while always remaining calm and being Member and Team focused.
The role requires someone who is flexible, resilient, positive, and energetic as we work in a 7-day a week operating environment.
About You
* Extensive experience in all aspects of food & beverage
* Experience in managing teams is essential
* A proven track record of successfully controlling budgets
* Demonstrate a passion for high-quality customer service
* A passion for training and developing staff
* Basic first aid certificate
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Possess natural leadership qualities
* Knowledge of work health and safety standards and holds a current RSA certificate
Key Skills
* Highly organised and methodical
* Ability to prioritise tasks on the run
* Ability to lead by example, knowing when to be hands-on and when to delegate effectively and efficiently
* Providing input for Food & Beverage strategies, promotions, and budgeting processes that contribute to the overall improvement
* Commitment to the provision of outstanding customer service
* Effective interpersonal communication skills is a must
* Ability to build a rapport with clients
