Key Responsibilities: Overall management and accountability of timely and accurate returns to funding organisations and government departments in order to maintain funding compliance and prevent avoidable claw-back of funding. Management of multiple information and data systems and projects, including learner records, learner tracking and Office applications. Manage key staff members within the compliance team to ensure that data meets all internal and external requirements including those of audit regimes. Maintain reliable and accurate learner records (electronic and paper based) and accurately input data on to the Management Information System database. To manage the development, maintenance and integrity of FE statutory returns to external bodies for Woodspeen and JTM To manage and co-ordinate staff assigned to the verification or checking of the data for these returns To have a thorough understanding of the ESFA policies, procedures and methodology. Knowledge of Work Based learning provision Working knowledge of MIS Systems and Aptem Knowledge of working within ESFA funding methodology Extensive knowledge of the Individualised Learner Record (ILR) return Extensive knowledge of ESFA funding methodologies and processes Extensive knowledge of data quality checking processes Experience in data collection techniques Experience of MIS systems used in the education & training industry Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Flexibility, the ability to work as a part of a team frequently under pressure Knowledge and Experience of funding agency audits. Knowledge of QAR methodology Understands how FIS works & how to utilise its output reports. Detailed understanding and working knowledge of GDPR compliance and ability to manage GDPR across the function. Location This is based at our Head Office in Huddersfield on a hybrid remote basis.
