About the Role | Who are we looking for?
Due to our increasing success and growth, we’re growing our team of enthusiastic experts. We are recruiting for a Technical Sales Coordinator to join our team. The Technical Sales Coordinator will support the Commercial Team by managing customer relationships, creating proposals, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and 7thSense.
This role is crucial in facilitating the sales process, from responding to initial inquiries to preparing quotes and supporting customer events. The role requires excellent communication, computer and/or AV technical knowledge, multitasking, and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail to ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded.
The successful candidate’s key responsibilities will include:
1. Initial Sales Responses and Follow-Ups:
o Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or Teams in a timely and professional manner.
o Ensure follow-ups and forecasting information on potential sales leads, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process.
o Coordinate follow up calls as required with the appropriate 7thSense team members.
2. Build Product Quotes:
o Create quotations for products and services based on customer requirements using our online pricing tools.
o Gather necessary information to enable the Technical Sales Engineers to develop more complex, tailored quotes.
3. Validation of Customer Purchase Orders:
o Verify that customer purchase orders (POs) are accurate and align with previously generated quotes. Liaise with internal teams to process purchase orders and address any discrepancies before finalising orders.
4. Customer Database Management:
o Maintain and update customer data in the internal systems, ensuring that all records are accurate and up to date.
o Track and manage customer interactions to enhance relationship building and future sales opportunities.
5. Supporting Report Generation:
o Assist with preparing and compiling sales reports, performance data, and metrics for the Commercial Director and Sales Team.
o Help create detailed analysis for better strategic decision-making.
6. Liaison Between Sales and Technical Teams:
o Collaborate closely with the 7thSense technical teams to gather information on customer needs and requirements.
o Ensure smooth communication between the sales and technical departments, assisting in the resolution of any customer issues.
7. Building Relationships:
o Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, ensuring consistent, proactive communication.
o Address customer queries and concerns with professionalism and confidence.

Mandatory Technical Skills and Experience | The ‘Must-Haves'
1. Knowledge of audiovisual technology or PC hardware.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and online CRM/database systems.
3. Experience with customer-facing roles, including proactive and professional communication via phone, Teams or Zoom, and email.
4. Strong attention to detail, particularly in validating orders, managing databases, and assisting with quotes.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
6. Self-motivated and disciplined in following up with customers and internal teams.
7. Valid passport for occasional international travel for events or meetings.
8. Valid driving licence.
Additional Useful Skills | The ‘Helpful to Haves’
1. Interest in technology outside of the workplace. Experience working in a sales or technical role within a technology, media, or engineering-related industry is beneficial.
2. Proficiency in a second language is an advantage but not essential (French/German/Dutch).

Salary Range: £26,700 - £34,500 dependent on experience and skill-set
Location: Upper Beeding, West Sussex (office-based role)
