You will play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused repairs and maintenance service. Working closely with the Property Services Manager, you will oversee in-house maintenance teams and external contractors to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, while maintaining cost-effective operations\n\nClient Details\n\nA respected housing provider committed to delivering high-quality, affordable homes within a strong community setting. Their values-driven approach emphasises inclusivity, service excellence, and continuous improvement in housing standards.\n\nDescription\n\nSupport the Property Services Manager in managing repairs, voids, cyclical works, and planned maintenance programmes.\n\nAssist in the day-to-day management of cyclical maintenance contracts.\n\nSupport the collation and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) for management meetings.\n\nAssist in preparing reports for board meetings and senior stakeholders.\n\nAssist with stock condition assessments and procurement of quotations for planned works.\n\nOversee works order production, ensuring alignment with schedules of rates.\n\nMonitor invoicing processes and manage variations to works orders.\n\nAnalyse customer satisfaction data to enhance the tenant experience.\n\nOversee the efficient turnaround of void properties, minimising rental income loss.\n\nConduct pre- and post-inspections of void properties and allocate work accordingly.\n\nPerform regular reactive repair post-inspections to ensure quality and value for money.\n\nDiagnose complex repair issues and advise on appropriate trades or contractors.\n\nManage complex repair projects from inception to completion.\n\nProvide technical advice to improve repair, voids, and cyclical maintenance standards.\n\nEnsure that all work complies with relevant safety and building regulations\n\nProfile\n\nDegree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (or demonstrable equivalent experience). (Essential)\n\nKnowledge of housing, asset management, or property maintenance sectors. (Essential)\n\nExperience of surveying for stock condition assessments.
(Essential)\n\nFamiliarity with Schedules of Rates. (Desirable)\n\nFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
