NHS GRAMPIAN Estates Officer Operational Maintenance (Band 7). An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of an Estates Officer (Band 7) offering attractive NHSG terms and conditions. The successful candidate will manage multi discipline Maintenance Teams across NHSG, primarily focused on the Ventilation and Mechanical related activities. The opportunity is substantively based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary; however, there may be requirements to work across a wide range of NHS Grampian facilities, in-line with service demands. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Ventilation and Mechanical related trades (predominantly). The post holder will cover for fellow Estates Officers, at times of absence, and should have extensive experience of Managing Staff, Maintaining Assets and Mechanical Plant/Systems. Applicants must be educated to a minimum of HNC/HND Level or equivalent, ideally have completed a recognised apprenticeship within a relevant discipline and preferably be multi-skilled. Applicants must be computer literate and competent to operate complex building management and process control systems and be able to organise multi trade workloads and plan and coordinate maintenance tasks accordingly. Applicants must possess a current full, driving licence. The post holder will be required to participate in a 24 hour on call rota. Participation in flexible arrangements will be necessary in this role.
