About the role Join our Health and Medical Solutions team as a Regional Sales Manager, focusing on our Care at Home customers within the South of England. This permanent, full-time position reports to the National Sales Manager. Working with the market leading TENA®️ brand, you will be responsible for leading a team to acquire new business and retain existing business for primary care and nursing/care home channels. Our business is often won through a tender process therefore, experience of tenders is desirable. You will need to reside within the geographic territory, and travel to cover the area therefore, a driving licence is required. Occasional overnight stays as required. What you will do Lead, direct and develop the respective sales organisation in terms of its structure, people and performance to achieve maximum efficiency & effectiveness (including personal feedback & development). Coach team members on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets. Translate local business plans into sales plans, activities, and campaigns and manage the day-to-day activities of a sales team (in order to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy) for an assigned geography, channel, and/or customers. Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem/opportunities areas and adapt procedures. Allocate resources according to up-to-date customer categorization to improve the overall performance of the sales team. Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization. Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution plans/strategies for area of responsibility. Responsible for customer profitability. Generate knowledge on market development/customer needs and competitor activities and distribute to internal stakeholders. Contribute to overall decision making. Who you are The ideal candidate for this role will possess: Proven track record in Regional Sales and Account Management. Strong sales management experience Experience and knowledge of Healthcare and the NHS. Strong business analysis and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
