The Company
Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Project Manager to join their team on a 12 month contract. You will play a key role in delivering a variety of exciting community infrastructure projects, enhancing public spaces and improving the lives of the community. Due to a very strong pipeline of work planned, this client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support them through this period of growth.
The RoleResponsibilities
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your projects. This includes but is not restricted to:
* Manage project from scope through to completion
* Adhere to contractor's design, monitoring, WHS, reporting, quality, issues resolution framework
* Providing technical advice to project team members whilst building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Meeting project deadlines and ensuring that commitments and expectations are met
* Manage delivery of work to meet budgets
* Daily site diary updating and report any impact on the project schedule
* Ensure optimum utilisation of resources (material, machinery, manpower) allocated to the project
* Review contract terms and conditions with State construction manager & legal team
* Submit delays, claims, variations, EOT or any other notices to the client in accordance with the contract
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in managing community infrastructure projects.
* Experience in coastal and community projects highly regarded.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
