Mobile Warden - Permanent position, part time 28 hours
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to work out in the community providing a mobile warden service. The Mobile Warden Team has been supporting residents in Northumberland for over 30yrs and we pride ourselves on being professional and compassionate and promote a culture of excellence within the team.
The successful candidate will be providing support to clients across Northumberland allowing them to live independently, either installing Telecare equipment or responding to emergency call outs.
This position is based out of Foundry House in Bedlington, working across the county. It is a permanent, part time (28 hours) position. NCC Band 5 salary £27,711 - £30,060 FTE (£20,970 - £22,748 pro rata for part time employees)
Duties of the role:
- Working across Northumberland in a 24/7 service.
- To maintain and promote independent living to our clients.
- To respond to emergency and non-emergency calls as relayed by the Control Centre, gaining access, administering first aid when necessary.
- Carrying out assessment of the incident and contacting emergency services, GPs and next of kin.
- To have an in-depth knowledge of all Telecare equipment including installation, maintenance and monitoring.
- To carry out annual maintenance checks and complete a full assessment of the customer’s needs offering a choice of service.
Requirements:
- Good Standard of education
- Available to work a variety of shifts including evenings nights and weekends.
- Full UK driving licence
- To work both independently and as a team across Northumberland visiting clients in their own homes
