Role: Geography Graduate - Water
Location: Bristol - Clevedon
Salary: £26,000

This role is ideal for a Geography Graduate or someone with data analysis experience looking for full-time permanent work in the Water sector.
Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Engineer/Technician who will be analysing flow data and reporting on findings in order to ensure all internal and external KPIs are met.
This role is suited to a graduate who is looking to kick start their career in the Water sector or candidates who have experience with report writing and analysis experience looking to further their career.
The role will involve:
1. Commencing projects in the Data Office.
2. Meeting project deadlines on time and to the client's specification.
3. Undertaking various data/flow editing/analysis finding any issues.
4. Recording/diarising status of each equipment type ensuring optimum output is attained.
5. Coordinating externally with client representatives where applicable.
6. Coordinating internally with Data Supervisor, Team Leader, Project Managers and Site Teams.
7. Helping towards the improvement of procedures of current systems.
8. Occasional flexibility regarding work hours will be required.

Full in-house training will be provided for this role; however, previous experience within a similar environment would be highly advantageous.
Experience - required and desirable:
1. Educated to a degree level in ideally Geography, Civil Engineering, or any degree which contains water sector elements (e.g., sewers, pipeline, water treatment, hydrology, or similar).
2. Proficient in data analysis skills involving analysis of patterns and numbers.
3. GIS and Microsoft Office Skills predominantly in Excel and Word.
4. Outstanding attention to detail.
5. Exceptional time management and organisational skills to achieve multiple deadlines.
6. Must be presentable, dependable, and able to communicate clearly.
7. Degree level education with a Hydrological element is highly advantageous but not essential.
8. Experience working within water.
9. Site experience in flow monitoring technologies would be advantageous but not essential.
