Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Dental Nurse to join us at our fully private Dental Practice. The ideal candidate will assist in the clinic during dental procedures and participate in the running of reception when necessary. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation within the practice and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
Duties
1. Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
2. Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring an organised calendar for the dental team.
3. Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
4. Maintain surgery checklist ensuring a smooth clinic/decontamination room.
5. Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
6. Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence related to patient appointments and inquiries.
7. Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
Experience
1. Minimum 2 years experience as a Dental Nurse/Receptionist.
2. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with patients and staff.
4. Proficiency in using office software and dental practice management systems is advantageous.
5. A compassionate attitude towards patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.
