State Street Global Market's Front Office Trading Services (FOTS) team is looking for a Business System Analyst within its London-based team. The FOTS team provides support across the globe (North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific) for State Street Global Market's FX Sales & Trading Desks and acts as the primary liaison for external and internal clients. In addition to trading support and client services, the team works closely with Operations groups and participates in projects related to new trading initiatives, testing, and implementation planning.

What you will be responsible for
As Front Office Trading Services Officer, you will:
Key Responsibilities
* Assist SSGM Sales & Trading with trade support and related responsibilities.
* Research and resolve trade-related inquiries from Sales and Trading, back office, fund groups, and clients.
* Monitor SSGM's trading systems and address/resolve issues with appropriate escalations.
* Cancel, modify, and rebook trades.
* Support Algo, eFX, StreetFX, and IndirectFX client onboarding (Front Office components) and perform pricing validations for SSGM's indirect FX activity.
* Communicate and maintain strong working relationships with multiple departments (Trading, Operations, Finance, IT, third-party vendors) to resolve breaks and trade discrepancies on a time-sensitive basis.
* Participate in various projects that require involvement with end-to-end testing of new functionality or future support.
* Understand the intricacies of manual and/or exceptional processes on the FX desk and work with IT, Credit & Compliance, Operations, and Business Analysis teams to improve process inefficiencies.
* Be a great team player communicating and collaborating with local and overseas members working as one global team.
* Liaise with the Client Support Services team with queries related to the onboarding of new business.
* Produce reporting for clients and internal use.
* Strictly follow the controls and procedures to reduce risk to the business.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Finance.
* 3-5 years of experience.
* Some technical experience involving but not limited to FIX, Linux, querying databases (like Oracle).
* Some financial services industry experience and exposure to foreign exchange is preferred.
* Some client-facing experience is preferred but not required.
