Role: Compliance Engineer
Contract: Permanent
Location: South East, London
As a Compliance Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Adopting and applying a health and safety culture responsible for keeping up to date with knowledge and understanding of all relevant compliance and regulatory rules and procedures that relate to Compliance Inspections.
* Making well-informed decisions and willing to take responsibility.
* Developing and maintaining good customer relationships.
* Ensuring all inspections are undertaken to agreed standards, documented and reported in a timely manner.
* Maintaining personal safety through risk assessments and safety awareness.
* Working closely and effectively with controllers when planning, in order to organize site inspection activities and work allocation to maximize productivity.
* Being able to travel effectively within the allocated work area and nationally if required.
* Maintenance of master data accuracy through effective reporting of equipment data.
* Upholding the image and standards of the Company through personal presentation and company vehicle condition.
As a Compliance Engineer you will demonstrate:
* Extensive experience in an MHE/MEWPs engineering capacity.
* Significant customer relationship management skills.
* Significant knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety legislation relating to LOLER and PUWER.
* Substantial evidence of commercial awareness.
* Significant PC skills with experience in MS applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and use of hand-held tablets for report completion.
