This is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Sales Graduate to join our Wilmslow office. In this role, you will be developing & executing marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Develop and execute marketing campaigns, in line with the delivery of key targets / deadlines for each conference / event as well as selling the conference to the delegates. Note, this is a dual role – 50% of the role is Sales and 50% is Marketing.
2. Ensure all digital channels are updated with engaging and effective content.
3. Write and proofread creative commercially driven copy.
4. Research, analyse and report on marketing activities to support decision making.
5. Understand and select key audiences using our existing data platforms.
6. Closely collaborate with production and the sales department to ensure commercial success.
7. Manage conference / event websites – ensuring all written copy is up to date, consistent and correct.
8. Work towards KPIs and revenue targets.
9. Conduct various administrative aspects of events / conferences including customer enquiries.
Education, Experience and Competencies:
1. Educated to degree level (preferably with a Marketing or related degree).
2. Familiarity of using an email marketing software is preferred, but not essential.
3. Creative thinker as well as the ability to produce persuasive copy.
4. Interest and/or understanding of government and public-sector policy is preferred, but not essential.
5. A positive, ‘can do’ attitude with strong multi-tasking skills.
6. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
7. Flexible team player, with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
8. Confidently able to deal with customers/ delegates via both phone and e-mail.
