We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to take on the role of Lead Podiatrist within our client's team in Falmouth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our podiatry services, delivering high-quality care to our patients while providing strong leadership to the team.
Package:
Competitive salary of £45k-£50k per annum plus £5k discretionary bonus (flexibility for the right candidate).

Key Responsibilities
* Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of podiatry services, ensuring efficient and effective patient care. Manage a complex caseload of patients while delegating and supporting the team.
* Team Leadership: Provide clear leadership and guidance to podiatrists, foot care assistants, and administrative staff. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
* Service Development: Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of podiatry services, implementing best practices and innovative approaches.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to clinical governance and quality standards, participating in audits and implementing necessary improvements.
* People Management: Responsible for staff performance management, including appraisals, training, and development. Manage sickness absence and recruitment processes.
* Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information sharing.
Minimum Requirements
* BSc (or equivalent) in Podiatry.
* HCPC registration.
* Minimum of 5 years experience as a podiatrist.
* Proven leadership and management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience in managing chronic and complex wounds.
* Non-medical prescriber qualification or willingness to undertake.
* Clinical Educator experience.
* Experience in a community setting and care homes.
