The Role
As a member of our successful EMEA Commercial Add-on Sales Team, you will ensure a world-class Proofpoint experience for our customers. You'll stay in regular contact, keep them informed of product and service updates, and work closely with the Channel to achieve customer satisfaction, conduct business reviews, and identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling.
* Achieve or surpass quarterly revenue targets and provide accurate forecasts.
* Proactively engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and promote our solutions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships across all organizational levels.
* Coordinate resources within accounts.
* Identify and resolve customer issues collaboratively.
* Research organizational structures and maintain information in Salesforce.
* Stay informed about Proofpoint’s market positioning and competitors.
* Identify and convert add-on sales opportunities.
* Process transactions in line with company policies to ensure revenue recognition.
* Collaborate with the Renewal team to align efforts within customer accounts.
* Working with channel partners and existing relationships is advantageous.
Qualifications
* Experience in enterprise software sales within the Alps market.
* Cybersecurity market experience is highly beneficial.
* Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
* Experience working within a channel fulfillment model.
* Ability to present technical themes, supported by a Sales Engineer.
* Proven success in meeting sales quotas.
* Accurate forecasting skills.
* Ability to manage multiple opportunities effectively.
* Dedicated to customer success.
* Familiarity with CRM or relational databases for sales management.
* Fluent in German and English, both verbal and written.
