We are looking for Nursing Assistants to join our award-winning care home based in Baylham (Suffolk), where we deliver a highly personalised range of residential and nursing care. Our services include full-time residential and nursing care, short-term rehabilitation, convalescence, respite, and dementia care.
Our home is in the beautiful Suffolk countryside between Ipswich and Bury and is close to Stowmarket.
We are looking for people who enjoy a challenge, are highly motivated, and possess a passionate and caring nature to join our team.
Ideally, the successful candidate will hold a valid driving licence, but this is not essential.
Your role will include:
As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents. Your duties will include:
* Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
* Monitoring and recording residents' health and well-being.
* Ensuring a clean, safe, and positive living environment.
* Building trusting relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
* Developing, reviewing, and updating care plans to meet residents' physical, social, and psychological needs, whilst still championing independence and personal choice.
* Maintaining accurate documentation and resident records.
* Working alongside the nurses, being involved in medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
* Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines - identifying, investigating, and resolving risks proactively.
* Being involved in auditing of the care that we provide.

* [Preferred] NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Previous experience in a care home or similar setting.
