ASD Teaching Assistant Location: Northfield, Birmingham, B31 Pay Rate: £90-£105 per day Start Date: ASAP Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Long Term Futures are looking for a dedicated and understanding ASD Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Northfield. This Ofsted-rated 'Good' school requires a 1:1 SEN TA to support a Reception child with autism and behavioural challenges. The role is long-term with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. What We're Looking For: Experience in SEN support, particularly with ASD, ADHD, or SEMH needs. Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and experience in UK primary schools. Ability to provide 1:1 support, small group interventions, and track pupil progress. Key Skills: Strong behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment. Ideally trained in Team Teach or similar de-escalation techniques.
