About the role Over the 8-week period, you will spend time in multiple departments, including: Accounts & Business Advisory; Audit Assurance; Corporate Tax; and Personal Tax; In addition to this, you’ll also have the opportunity to spend some time in CT’s other niche departments such as our Evolve, Corporate Finance, R&D, Entrepreneurial Tax and Marketing teams This will equip you with a taste for what each department has to offer and which graduate role you’d wish to pursue upon completion of your studies. So that’s the gloss, what about the nitty-gritty? Duties and responsibilities Direct involvement in client work in the relevant departments. Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity. Creating content for social media posts. Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about the accounting industry. General administration. Over the 8-weeks, you’ll also work with your fellow placement students on a group project that will be presented to members of the Senior Leadership / Partnership Team. Application of the principles learned from each department to your own business plan for the group project. Are you up for the challenge? About You If you are: An undergraduate who is in their penultimate year on track to pass your degree, in any subject. An excellent communicator – both written and verbal. Attentive to detail. Tenacious and able to see tasks to completion. Curious and use your initiative to solve problems. Resilient and can work well in a busy team. Highly IT literate (Microsoft Office in particular).
