About the Role
The Print and Graphic Designer is a varied role and will support in all areas, across Womenswear jersey design, and assisting our fantastic inhouse design team. This role will also help in preparing and contributing to customer meetings, with collecting samples, and developing ranges of with a focus on print and graphic design.
Experience of shape design is a great bonus but not essential. The business is fast paced, and we require the candidate to be reactive, agile, resilient and well organised. Experience of working for a supplier and with Highstreet fast fashion retailers is desired.
We are looking for a Designer who is:
1. Experienced high street fashion Senior Print and Graphic across womenswear
2. Commercially aware of current trends and themes, developing the brand and working with production to ensure all products are designed and manufactured in line with the customers’ direction and critical path within sometimes tight deadlines.
3. An excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels, including customers and factories and third parties based in the Far East and Europe
4. Highly organised, efficient and able to work to tight deadlines
5. Have experience working within in a fast-paced environment
6. Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel), photoshop and Illustrator, 3D design skills are beneficial
7. Ability to design shape and graphics – With a graphics focus
8. To have garment technical knowledge, and ability to generate detailed tech packs
9. Driven and results orientated
10. Proactive, positive and solutions focused
11. Educated to degree level, ideally in a qualification related to fashion design, business or retail
