About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Analystto join our rapidly expanding B2B and Microtricity team. The role holder will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting of data and information across various departments, supporting the administration of the Feed in Tariff government scheme, as well as supporting other operational tasks within the Operations team.
You’ll collaborate closely with different teams to gather, analyse, and present data that supports informed decision-making and contributes to the overall success of B2B and Microtricity.
Core Responsibilities…
* The compilation and production of accurate and time-specific regulatory reporting.
* Validate and consolidate data from multiple sources and systems.
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks.
* Maintain a variety of reports, dashboards, and visualisations using reporting tools.
* Run scheduled reports for B2B and Microtricity to strict deadlines.
* Distribute reports to relevant stakeholders through various channels.
* Maintain data governance standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulations.
* Assist in the delivery of projects where required.
* Work with the B2B and Microtricity leadership groups to Identify key performance indicators and service level requirements.
* Assist in the changes to processes, systems, and procedures resulting from analysis and data interrogation to minimise risk and maximise value.
* Create user guides and documentation for reporting processes.
* Assist internal stakeholders with data analytics and finding data led solutions to existing problems.
* Support our Microtricity team with internal and external audits.
* Support development of B2B growth plans.
* Support in the administration of B2B’s Sales and external TPI commissioning scheme
* Various standard and ad-hoc reporting.
Skill Set Required:
* Strong working knowledge of SQL (MS-SQL/Databricks - T-SQL)
* Advanced MS Excel
* Experience using Power BI (or similar).
* Understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
* Experience in the energy industry and FIT Scheme desirable.
* Ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.
* A keen eye for detail and accuracy in delivery to requirements.
* Ability to derive and communicate conclusions and recommendations from your analytical results.
* Strong presentation skills for engaging stakeholders
