Acre pharmacy is an online aesthetics pharmacy. This is a non-managerial and non-patient facing role. Only apply if you have the required qualifications. Applications without a CV will not be considered.
Overall Objective:
We are seeking a skilled Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Acre Pharmacy in providing high-quality pharmaceutical services within the aesthetics industry. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in accuracy checking, ensuring accurate medication administration and excellent patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Your duties will encompass, but not be confined to:
2. Must work in line with the current GPhC standards for pharmacy service.
3. Working in conjunction with the responsible pharmacist to provide accurate final checking and technical assistance in the supply of aesthetic medication.
4. Carry out the final accuracy checking of dispensed items whilst adhering to the companies standard operating procedures.
5. Responsible for documenting any near misses/errors using our electronic near miss reporting system.
6. Answer pharmacy queries (within levels of competence) regarding supply of medicines for patients.
7. Maintaining current knowledge of medicines and aesthetic medicines through trainings and reliable research sources.
8. Liaising with other healthcare professionals when required to assist in the continuity of patient care.
9. Ability to identify any medicine related or process issues and bringing this to the attention of the Pharmacy Manager and the Responsible Pharmacist.
10. Ensuring stock is received in accordance with the SOP’s and stock is stored appropriately and safely.
Skills Required:
1. Previous experience as an ACT
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and checking.
3. Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures.
4. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skill.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. A positive team player.
7. Demonstrate honesty, reliability and diligence.
8. Keeping patient care at the forefront of their role.
9. Flexible
Education:
1. Must hold a NVQ Level 3 ACT qualification.
2. Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
3. Must hold GCSE or equivalent (pass level C or above) in Math’s and English.
Contract:
Full time or Part time positions available, permanent. Shifts are between 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
Pay:
To be discussed depending on experience. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent. Pay: From £30,000.00 per year.
