Your New Role
As an Electrical Project Manager / Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering electrical projects for renewable energy systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out High and Low Voltage installation work across various projects when required
* Managing both planned and reactive maintenance for all sites
* Providing High and Low Voltage electrical design and plant specifications, collaborating with subcontracted designers for High Voltage design
* Analyzing site performance and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency
* Identifying, recording, and addressing faults with a proactive, solution-focused approach
* Completing electrical designs, technical reports, and documentation
* Monitoring and reviewing all asset-managed renewable energy sites on a scheduled rota, including weekend cover
1. Your Background
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)
* Level 3 Technical and Vocational Qualification or Level 3 Diploma
* BS7671 18th Edition qualification
* Experience with High Voltage systems
* A methodical, accurate, and process-driven approach to tasks
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Proficiency with computer systems and software
* A valid driving license
* Flexibility to work across the UK, including evenings and weekends when required
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the renewables industry
Desired Skills
* Experience in PV installation and maintenance, along with onshore wind systems
* CAD experience
* Experience with communications set-up and configuration
* HV Authorised Person / Switch qualification
