Job Purpose
We have a great opportunity for a Product Support Analyst to join us.
As Product Support Analyst you will provide standard support, routine maintenance and change related activities for the company’s business software applications.
Job Accountabilities
* Analyse and develop standard programs and software solutions to meet user requirements.
* Analyse and resolve routine product related incidents, service requests & problems, ensuring adherence to agreed processes to minimise disruption and maintain service availability.
* Work with business users, implementation team members, infrastructure teams, 3rd parties and security teams to assist with developing, testing, and implementing new functionality.
* Execute unit and systems testing activities to assure product quality.
* Perform routine maintenance activities to assure ongoing performance and availability.
* Work with 3rd parties in provision of support and development activity.
* Review and fulfil requests for non-routine product services.
* Liaise with customers and product users to understand operational and functional needs.
* Provide 24/7 support for maintenance and support activities as part of an on call rota.
* Ensure the Health, Safety and Wellbeing management framework is embedded in all activities.
Knowledge and Skills
* Experience of supporting and developing products in own specialism.
* Knowledge of the key digital technologies that underpin the application software.
* Solid understanding of the systems development lifecycle.
* Experience working in an ITIL framework.
* Technically competent with working experience in own specialism.
* Has typically undertaken training in a specific application technology.
* Experience of delivering excellent customer service in a technical support role.
