An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Crisis Team [Neath Port Talbot] for a Registered Mental Health Nurse. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team providing care to those individuals experiencing a Mental Health Crisis.
Ideally, this should be provided in the least restrictive environment, i.e., the patients' home / communities. The successful candidate will also be required to participate in the Mental Health Telephone Triage.
Full-time and part-time hours available.
Main duties of the job
The team aims to provide high-quality care within the least restrictive environment for individuals and their families. The team will encourage development and support.
1. Conduct holistic assessments for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
2. Telephone triage of referrals.
3. Home treatment, providing 1:1 input, psychosocial interventions.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
