Job Description
Join our client as an Accounts Payable Advisor, where you will be part of a great team within this £1bn turnover business.You will be handling a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy in quantities, pricing, and due dates.In addition you will be managing your own workload, escalating any issues to senior team members as needed.Your role will also involve processing supplier invoices and credit notes, coding them by expense type, and ensuring VAT is correctly applied.You'll also maintain supplier accounts, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve queries quickly via phone or email.Additionally, you'll be responsible for obtaining invoice authorisations and promptly addressing significant issues like final demand letters.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Advisor should have:
3. A solid understanding of Accounts Payable processes and principles.
4. A strong numerical acumen and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.
