Regulatory Governance Manager – Salary circa £50,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two individuals to join the new Risk & Governance Customer Communications Framework Team. If you are someone who has strong attention to detail and experience in data analysis and report building, with a natural interest in understanding and interpreting regulation, and expertise in assurance or compliance monitoring, we would love to hear from you!
A bit about the job:
The team will own, maintain, and deliver continuous enhancement to the UKGI (UK General Insurance) communications frameworks and supporting tools, along with the design and delivery of assurance to monitor framework adherence, robust insightful reporting, and analysis of key outcomes to senior committees and forums. This innovative team will drive the identification of opportunities for automation and AI in the delivery of good customer outcomes, assurance approaches, reporting and analysis.
Utilising risk management skills you will provide 1st Line Assurance, to ensure that the key customer communications framework controls and processes across the UKGI business are fit for purpose and operating effectively to mitigate risks to our customers and our business. You will manage and develop our customer insight and workflow management tool, delivering advanced reporting and analysis. Your assurance and reporting, including provision of MI with qualitative insight, will inform senior governance and oversight forums.
Most importantly you will advocate for our customers and represent our regulators perspective. You will be protecting our customers and our business.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Expertise in risk, control and assurance methodology and its operation within the Financial Services Industry. Understanding of Consumer Duty regulatory requirements and customer communications.
2. Good stakeholder management skills, in particular effective communication and influencing – being able to translate conceptual thinking and insight into reporting and committee papers.
3. Strong analytical skills and a critical thinker – using data to build reporting, interpret the output, identify trends, and demonstrate how we ensure good outcomes for our customers.
4. Planning, prioritising, and organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, learning quickly. A proven history of problem solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to articulate solutions in a business context.

* Salary between circa £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
