Job Title – Senior Event Operations Manager

Salary – £28-£32k
Our client is one of the country’s leading specialists in delivering corporate hospitality, sports related travel and event management.
You will be reporting to the Head of Operations, your main responsibility is for the successful planning and delivery of all travel events, hospitality events and projects operated by the Company.
You will be responsible for the customer experience both pre event and at event, we need you to meet and exceed client’s expectations and all services are to be delivered correctly, efficiently and cost effectively, in line with budgets and timescales
Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement and deliver the operational and fulfillment strategy for each event
* Build, coach and lead an effective, highly motivated team
* Responsible for the achievement of operational cost budgets
* Managing the accurate input and output of data into all booking and CRM systems
* Responsible for developing and enhancing the customer journey
Skills Required:
* Proven ability to manage a team on a day to day basis
* Well developed project management skills
* Impeccable attention to detail
* Solid and proven experience of customer service and quality delivery
* Excellent administration skills, with a highly organised approach to work
* Proven ability to work and deliver under pressure
* Driving Licence
* Significant travel or events industry background
* At least five years management experience in an operational role that has created and delivered major travel or event programmes
* Strong leader who is an effective communicator with first class communication skills, approachable and leads by example
* Exceptional people management skills
