Position: SEN Teacher We are currently working with an 'Oustanding' Primary School in the Enfield area who are looking to employ a Full-Time qualfied teacher who has previous experience working with a variety of SEN specifically ASD. Key Responsibilities: Create and implement tailored lesson plans for students with a range of special educational needs. Provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive. Work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other professionals to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Monitor and assess the progress of students, ensuring that educational goals are met. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative approach to learning. Implement and manage effective behavior strategies that support learning and inclusion. Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and communicate effectively with parents about their child’s achievements and areas for development. About You: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with primary-aged students with special educational needs, including those with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or physical disabilities. A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to teaching. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team. Knowledge and experience in adapting the curriculum to meet individual learning needs. A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for inclusive education. Desirable Qualifications: SEN Specialism or additional qualifications related to special education needs. Experience using specific intervention programs or strategies.
