The successful Music Teacher will cultivate a love of music and develop musical skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging Music Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, covering performance, composition, and appreciation. Prepare students effectively for GCSE Music examinations, ensuring a strong understanding of musical theory and practice. Foster a creative and collaborative environment where students can explore their musical talents. Assess and monitor student progress in music, providing constructive and encouraging feedback as a Music Teacher. Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular musical activities, such as choirs and instrumental ensembles. Encourage an appreciation for a wide range of musical genres and cultural traditions. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Music. Demonstrated experience in teaching Music at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4). Strong musical skills, including performance ability on at least one instrument and a solid understanding of music theory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring a passion for music as a Music Teacher.
