The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and driving the performance of the Telesales, Consumer Mobile, and Digicel+ Fibre sales teams. This role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion. The Sales Manager will oversee sales operations, manage team performance, and ensure excellent customer engagement to maximize sales opportunities across all channels.
* Develop and implement sales strategies for Telesales, Consumer Mobile, and Digicel+ Fibre products to drive revenue and market share growth.
* Set clear sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each sales channel and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
* Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
* Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments to drive expansion.
* Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
* Provide ongoing training and development to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques.
* Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement performance improvement plans as necessary.
* Foster a high-performance sales culture through regular team meetings, recognition programs, and incentives.
* Ensure a seamless customer journey across telesales, in-store, and field sales channels.
* Develop initiatives to improve customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
* Work closely with marketing teams to align promotional campaigns with sales objectives.
* Address customer concerns, ensuring quick resolution to enhance overall customer experience.
* Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and resources efficiently to maximize profitability.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, sales processes, and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, finance) to streamline sales operations and improve efficiency.
* Provide regular reports and insights on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales management, preferably in telecommunications or a related industry.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling sales teams.
* Strong understanding of consumer mobile and fibre sales, as well as tele-sales dynamics.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
