Pendle Borough Council are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Operations Manager to join their Waste Services team.
The Waste Services team, on behalf of Operational Services, deliver critical, essential and income generating services throughout the Borough of Pendle. More widely, the service area has a major role in delivering key milestones for the Council and as such we are looking to recruit a person with proven service delivery experience and desire to improve the service whilst working towards meeting the challenges that East Lancashire, District colleagues and the County as a whole will face over the coming years.
The postholder will have day-to-day responsibility of overseeing a wide range of services and will take direct lead for a team of supervisors and approximately 60 full time frontline employees.
