The Vacancy
Chilmington Green School is a co-educational, non-selective Secondary school which opened in September 2023. It will grow to become a 6-form entry school with a sixth form of 240 pupils. The school will build on United Learning’s successful track record locally and nationally, providing an excellent secondary education for local children. Our values of Ambition, Respect and Determination underpin the ethos and culture of our school. The successful candidate will join the school at a key point in the school’s growth as our new, state-of-the-art building will open in September 2025. Furthermore, being part of a newly establishing school offers excellent professional development and future career prospects.
As a new and growing school, we are recruiting teachers in all subject areas and the successful candidates will work as part of a small, close-knit and growing team. The staff body will form a dynamic team who are supportive, friendly, and dedicated to instilling the qualities of pride, respect, and resilience in the next generation of children. Chilmington Green works collaboratively with United Learning’s cluster of highly successful schools in the area, Wye School and Ashford School and, as a result, staff will benefit from richer and wider opportunities for continued professional development (CPD).
The Role
The successful candidate will join the school in September 2025 and will be part of the growing team of staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to shape and grow the school during its formative years.
