In your role as Project Engineering Manager, you will be required to manage the delivery of the site’s full capital investment programme in line with quality, cost and time expectations. Our Wrexham site continues to see significant investment in-line with our growing product portfolio and therefore this presents a fantastic career opportunity for somebody to join and play a pivotal role in shaping and influencing the Project Engineering function and how it operates moving forward. Key Responsibilities… Working with the operational managers and site leadership team on the Wrexham site, develop the annual CAPEX budget by defining and prioritising the live project list. Ensure a robust business case is developed for each project. Maintain the Site Master Plan – 5-year strategic development plan for the Wrexham site which in turn feeds the long-range forecast of CAPEX spending. Establish and maintain a team capable of delivering the projects on the live list. Comply with Ipsen People processes – Performance Management, Development etc Manage the balance of Ipsen employees and contractors to ensure knowledge is maintained within the business post implementation whilst being efficient with company’s finances. Create a clear set of Project Management and CAPEX Governance tools that ensures delivery on quality/cost/time, including: - Monthly reporting and escalation of project progress, risks and opportunities to the site leadership team. Presentation of new CAPEX projects and CAPEX budget to Global Technical Services Teams (part of global Technical Operations group – who are responsible for global CAPEX spend for Ipsen). Develop and maintain KPIs outlining the Project Engineering team’s performance against quality/cost/time. Provide monthly KPI reports to the team and the Director of Engineering. Ensure Project Engineers hand over completed projects to key stakeholders including, as a minimum, operations, quality and maintenance teams. Ensure GMP is maintained at all times by all parties involved with delivering a project. Operate as part of the Sites Engineering Leadership team: setting strategy in line with corporate guidance and Good Engineering Practice To comply with cGMP and current EHS and regulatory requirements at all times. What We’re Looking For… Experience leading large portfolio of projects.
