A reputable educational institution in South East England, Surrey, Epsom, is seeking a dedicated and experienced PPA Teacher to join their team. This is a contract position with full-time hours.
Job Duties:
1. Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to primary school students.
2. Provide support and cover across various Key Stages, including KS1, KS2, and Early Years.
3. Plan and prepare engaging and differentiated lessons to cater to students' individual needs.
4. Effectively manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5. Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
6. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
7. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher meetings as required.
8. Adhere to school policies, procedures, and standards.
Required Qualifications:
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
10. Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting.
11. Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students.
Education:
12. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.
Experience:
13. At least 2 years of experience as a primary school teacher.
14. Demonstrated experience working with SEN students.
Knowledge and Skills:
15. Comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum and teaching standards.
16. Ability to effectively differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
17. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
19. Proficient in using educational technology and digital resources.
Preferred Qualifications:
20. Postgraduate qualification in Education or a relevant field.
21. Additional certifications or training in Special Educational Needs.
Working Conditions:
The PPA Teacher will work in a primary school setting, following the school's academic calendar. The role involves regular classroom teaching, planning, and collaboration with colleagues. The teacher will be expected to work full-time hours as per the contract. The position offers a competitive daily rate of £140 - £150 per day.
