To work in areas across Newark and Sherwood District with Castle House, Newark as office base.
Appointment to this role is subject to a Basic DBS check.

Your role will involve:
Managing a range of tenancy duties including creation, enforcement, and sustainability.
Serving as the primary liaison between tenants and the Council.
Addressing breaches of tenancy and collaborating with Senior Housing Officers on resolutions.
Assisting tenants in maintaining their tenancies
Taking enforcement action where it is unavoidable.
Encouraging tenant involvement in engagement activities to amplify their voices.
Building relationships with partner agencies to connect tenants with essential services.
What are we looking for in successful candidates?
Proven experience in social housing.
A relevant level 4 qualification.
In-depth knowledge of current housing issues and legislation.
Excellent communication skills.
Effective organisation and prioritisation skills.
Effective conflict management skills.
The ability to provide a high level of customer care.
Due to the nature of the role, you must also have access to a vehicle to enable you to travel around the district.
