Electronics Technician
We are recruiting for an Electronics Technician to join a growing team based in Oxford.
An Electronics Technician is sought to work closely with various teams, maintaining and enhancing equipment systems, primarily focusing on field equipment performance, deployment, and new system testing.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all equipment meets specifications for optimal results.
2. Diagnose and address equipment issues as they arise.
3. Perform regular maintenance and repairs to keep equipment reliable for field use.
4. Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and improve data collection systems.
5. Assemble and test prototype systems.
6. Maintain logs for equipment maintenance and repair history. Required Skills & Experience:
7. Proficiency in electronic and electrical circuits and systems.
8. Experience assembling prototype or small-volume equipment.
9. Ability to diagnose and repair electronic equipment.
10. Practical skills across electronic, electrical, and mechanical domains.
11. Skilled in electronic/ mechanical CAD software, with PCB CAD expertise.
12. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for resolving technical issues. This role is based in Oxford and offers an opportunity to engage in hands-on, collaborative work with a growing team, directly supporting system development and equipment reliability.
