Facilities Maintenance Technician Location: Solihull
Salary: £30,000 per annum

Hours :Monday to Friday: 8.30 am – 5.00 pm (37.5 hours per week, with a one-hour lunch break).
About the Role We are seeking a proactive, multi-skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician with a strong background in either electrical or plumbing disciplines to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a balanced mix of planned, reactive, and project-based maintenance work within a dynamic corporate environment. You’ll collaborate closely with the Property Management team and other departments to maintain and enhance our workplace while ensuring cost-efficiency and high-quality results.
Purpose of the Role The Facilities Maintenance Technician will deliver day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and small projects across the portfolio. This includes ensuring work is completed to the highest standards, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and maintaining an excellent working environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical fault-finding, repairs, and general plumbing maintenance, including fixing leaks and addressing Legionella assessment actions.
Carry out painting, decorating, and preparatory tasks for office areas.
Undertake minor carpentry tasks, such as repairs and adjustments.
Repair and replace locks as required.
Conduct equipment maintenance and basic internal/external building repairs.
Perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) for electrical appliances.
Deliver planned maintenance tasks in line with schedules while maintaining accurate records.
Respond to reactive maintenance requests via the Service Desk system and complete tasks within agreed service levels.
Assist with minor office moves and support light porterage and deliveries.
Provide general support with other maintenance-related duties as required.About You Skills:

NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Plumbing/Water Systems (including L8 tasks).
Proven experience working within a maintenance or facilities team.
A full, clean driving licence.Working Hours
