Senior Payroll Administrator (Bureau)

JGA are delighted to be working with a successful accountancy looking to add a Senior Payroll Administrator to its team.
Responsibilities include:
1. Accurate processing of client payrolls
2. Support the on-boarding process agreed with client and set up payrolls to the system
3. Implementation of new payrolls and procedures
4. Assist with training and supporting junior payroll administrators
5. Assist with the implementation and roll out of quality control checks and system enhancements
Skills & experience required:
1. Minimum of 2 years payroll experience, within a payroll bureau
2. At least 4-5 years general payroll experience
3. CIPP technician, preferable but not essential
4. Practical experience will also be taken into account
5. Strong IT skills including MS Office and databases
6. Experience with either STAR/Iris or PayCircle is preferred but not essential
7. Experience of various pension providers websites i.e. NEST, Royal London etc
8. Full knowledge of current legislation
9. Good understanding of BACS payments, time frames and the process
