Role - Licensing officer
Location - West Midlands (Hybrid role)
Rate - Negotiable per/hour.
Duration - 6 Months (possible extension)
One of G2 Recruitment's local authority clients in the West Midlands are seeking an experienced Licensing officer to join the team for the next 6 months due to an unexpected increase in workload.
The role will mainly be focused on Processing and assessing licensing applications for various sectors, including alcohol, entertainment, taxis, Carrying out inspections and compliance checks to ensure that license holders adhere to the relevant regulations, Investigating complaints or breaches of licensing conditions and Preparing and presenting reports to support decision making and enforcement actions.
The position is hybrid so will require some office/site presence - ideally twice per/week but will be caseload depending.
Rates are negotiable depending on experience.
Criteria to be considered:
* Proven Experience in licensing with a broad understanding of licensing laws and procedures.
* Knowledge of local government processes and relevant regulatory frameworks.
* adaptability with processing software.
