We have an exciting opportunity to join KLB School and become a member of our Safeguarding Team. We wish to appoint two Attendance, Welfare Officer & Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads to play a crucial role in promoting and ensuring the welfare, safety and attendance of students. These positions will involve close collaboration with staff, students, families and external agencies to create a supportive environment that prioritises safeguarding and educational engagement. The successful candidates will have a good standard of education in English and Maths to at least GCSE C/4 level, together with experience of working with vulnerable children/adults and working in a safeguarding, welfare or attendance role in an educational setting.
The hours of work are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, term time + inset days. The salary for these positions is paid at NJC Points 21-24 £32,115 - £34,314 pro rata.
